Grok 3 claims superior performance over leading AI models, setting new industry standards.
Elon Musk's artificial intelligence startup, xAI, has officially launched Grok 3, its latest AI model designed to outperform existing competitors. According to xAI, Grok 3 boasts over ten times the computing power of its predecessor, Grok 2, and has demonstrated superior performance in early testing against leading models such as OpenAI's GPT-4 and Google's Gemini.
In benchmark evaluations, Grok 3 achieved a groundbreaking score of 1,400, surpassing OpenAI's GPT-4 and Gemini, which scored 1,377 and 1,353 respectively. This milestone positions Grok 3 at the forefront of AI development, setting a new standard for performance in the industry.
Beyond its enhanced computational capabilities, Grok 3 introduces advanced reasoning features, including "Think" and "Big Brain" modes, designed to tackle complex tasks by deconstructing them into manageable components and performing self-verification before delivering solutions. Additionally, xAI has unveiled DeepSearch, a next-generation AI search engine aimed at improving research and data analysis tasks. Grok 3 is currently accessible to X Premium Plus subscribers, with plans to offer an advanced SuperGrok subscription tier in the near future.
